  • Knife
  • Cutter Board
  • Medium Sauce Pan
  • Casserole Dish

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp All Purpose Flour
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • cup Milk
  • cups Processed Cheese cubed
  • 5 large Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Chives
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • cup Cheddar Cheese  shredded
  • 1 cup Colby Cheese shredded

  • First, you are going to want to slice up your potatoes. With that in mind, take your cutting board or mandolin slicer and slice your potatoes. Both ways are fine. Then set your potatoes to the side and get out your saucepan. Now in the saucepan melt your butter over medium high, watch it don’t burn.
After your butter is melted, add the flour and throughly stir together. Next, add the milk and continuously stir until it thickens. After that, add the processed cheese, chives, and garlic. Lastly, stir in the potatoes until they are completely coated.
Finally take the potato mixture and dump into the casserole dish. Then take the cheddar cheese and Colby cheese and spread evenly on top of the potato mixture. Lastly cover your casserole dish and place in the oven and cook for 40 minutes at 350°F/176.7°C. Then remove cover and place in the oven for 15 minutes at 425°F/218.3°C
